KONE Deursystemen B.V. in Veenendaal is the country's largest manufacturer of automatic pedestrian doors. These products are sold under the brand name Waldoor®.
With its high-quality products, KONE Deursystemen B.V. focuses among others on quality, reliability and safety in the field of automatically driven sliding and (hinged) swing doors. KONE Deursystemen B.V. is ISO 9001:2000 and VCA** certified, the products are TÜV approved and meet the international requirements as regards to quality and safety (CE standards and directions).
At this moment our pedestrian door products are being exported to more than 35 countries worldwide.
History
In the seventies of the previous century Eldebe B.V. and Van Walbeek B.V. started to develop and sell automatic doors. Both companies merged in 1992, which resulted in the new company Eldebe Waldoor Group BV. In 2003 Eldebe Waldoor Group B.V. became part of the KONE Corporation (Elevators and Escalators) and the company name changed into Konematic Waldoor B.V. In 2006 the company name changed into KONE Deursystemen B.V.
