KONE hermetical doors
Conditioned rooms require wide, practical entrances. For these environments KONE hermetically sealed sliding doors are the perfect solution, they are low in weight and have a very good level of sound insulation (standard = 28dB). This type of door is specially designed for use in operating theaters, laboratories and other clean room environments where air-pressure control and hygiene is of the utmost importance.
Features
KONE hermetical doors are made of aluminium silver anodized profiles with a synthetic sealing around the door panel. The door filling consist of a foam or wooden door panel with an HPL layer on both sides. The materials are resistant against detergents and disinfectants. In closed position, the door panel is pressed against the wall in order to create an optimal sealing. A special design door handle assures an easy opening of the door.
Design and usage
During the development of the KONE hermetically sealed sliding door, we continued the philosophy of using rounded shapes according to our corporate design. The covers, profiles and door handles are shaped in accordance to this design principle. This is not only aesthetically beneficial, but it also has an important functional reason and gives a clear focus on hygiene.
