The KONE SD F60 sliding doors demonstrate a unique example of fire resistance partitioning.
The model is one of a kind due to features like a very long fire resistance (93 minutes) and double-sided fire load capacity. The SD F60 is also available in an automatic telescopic model, enabling maximum opening width in limited space construction areas.
Fire Resistant Requirements
Anticipating the new laws and regulations regarding fire safety the development of an effective solution was initiated. The characteristics of the SD F60 fully comply therefore with strict rules, requirements and building regulations now and in the future. Due to the importance of individual needs for building design, the SD F60 sliding door is designed for the specific functionality and customized solutions for the entire (entrance) concept.
Quality and Design
Quality, reliability and safety are, as with all KONE products, also characteristics of the SD F60.
The total fire-resistant partition contains a specially selected profile system that can be fitted with various types of glazing, sliding door operator, safety devices and facilities to guarantee fire-resistance.
All materials in / on the fixed panels, sliding doors and on the supporting parts are of fire-resistant quality.
Certification
KONE Deursystemen, the producer of the KONE SD F60, is ISO 9001:2000 and VCA** 2004/04 certified. The SD F60 sliding door satisfies a fire resistance requirement of 93 minutes and radiation resistance of 101 minutes, tested by the Centre for Fire Safety at TNO-Efectis in accordance with the strict European NEN-EN 1634-1 Standards (Netherlands NEN 6069).
